In short: Home Free is a planning tool, not financial advice. Its plans are estimates. You're responsible for your own decisions and payments. Use it for yourself and the people you choose to share with.
Using Home Free
These terms are between you and Home Free Labs LLC, the Arizona company that makes Home Free. By signing in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You need to be at least 18 and able to agree to them. Use your own Apple or Google account, and only connect bank accounts that are yours.
Not financial advice
Home Free shows plans, projections and suggestions based on the numbers you and your banks provide. They're estimates: real interest, fees, payment timing and balances can differ, and bank data can be late or wrong. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Check important numbers with your lender, and talk to a qualified professional before major decisions.
Home Free doesn't make payments for you. Marking a payment paid only records it in the app. Paying your bills on time is up to you.
Crews
When you join or create a crew, the people in it see the shared information described in the Privacy Policy. Only invite people you trust. A crew's owner can remove members; anyone can leave a crew at any time.
Bank connections
Bank connections are provided by Plaid, and your use of them is also subject to Plaid's terms. We aren't responsible for your bank's or Plaid's services, availability or data.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Home Free: no trying to access other people's data, break or overload the service, reverse engineer it to harm it, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your account
You can stop using Home Free and delete your account in Profile at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may change or discontinue features, or the app, and will try to give notice when we can.
No warranty
Home Free is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Home Free Labs LLC and the people who make Home Free aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses from missed payments, fees, interest or financial decisions made using the app. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, which for a free app is zero.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and let you know before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use Home Free after that means you accept them.
